Day 1:
Arrive CairoWelcome to Egypt - the gift of the Nile as
described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International
Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Memphis Tours
representative who will help you through passport control,
baggage claim, and all customs formalities. You will then be
transferred to your hotel by a private air-conditioned
vehicle for check-in. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:
CatherineIn the morning, a Memphis Tours representative will
pick you up from your hotel and transfer you via modern
air-conditioned private vehicle to Catherine, Sinai; it is
approximately a 6 drive from Cairo.Dinner and overnight in
Catherine, Sinai.
Day 3:
Climbing Moses Mountain / Drive To DahabIn the early morning
hours, at approximately 2:00am, enjoy a free tea at your
hotel. Then transfer by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to
the starting point where you will begin your climb up Moses
Mountain and enjoy the sunrise. After sunrise and photo
opportunities, begin your descent and return to your hotel
for breakfast. Enjoy an excursion to see St. Catherine
Monastery, the burning bush, and the room of skulls. Later,
transfer to Dahab by a modern vehicle. Overnight in Dahab.
Days 4 & 5:
Optional Tours in DahabChoose from different optional
activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, or other water
sports in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea. For a
more relaxed day, fish beside the attractive caves and coral
reefs on the golden sandy beaches, surrounded by the
mountains of Sinai. In the evening, choose between a Bedouin
dinner in the desert or explore the exciting nightlife.
Day 6:
Back To CairoAfter breakfast at hotel, you will be
transferred by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 7:
Pyramids of Giza & Egyptian MuseumAfter breakfast, enjoy an
excursion to the Pyramids of Giza, home of Cheops, Chefren
and Mykerinus. Then proceed to the Great Sphinx, the head of
a pharaoh with a lion's body, dating to the time of Chephren.
The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which
belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. After that, visit the
Egyptian Museum where you can see great pharaonic treasures
including those of Tutankhamun. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 8:
Cairo or AlexandriaAfter breakfast, choose between a free
day in Cairo or an optional tour to Alexandria. Sites in
Alexandria include Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th
century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria’s
ancient lighthouse; Montazah Palace, which combines Turkish
and Florentine architectural styles; the new and much
acclaimed Alexandria Library; the Roman cemetery, cut out of
rock; and the Catacombs. Return to Cairo for overnight stay.
Day 9:
DepartureAfter breakfast, transfer to Cairo International
Airport for final departure

Notes :Prices are quoted in US $ and based on a double
occupancy. Also, prices are valid till 30/04/2009 except
during Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Easter Feasts.
Moreover, rates could be changed without prior notice, shall
the government increase taxes.
You must have a valid passport to enter Egypt. (You must
have at least 6 months of validity beyond your scheduled
return date.)
Alternatively; your accommodation in Cairo or Dahab can be
at 4 or 5 star hotels according to your request as there is
no 5 star hotels in Catherine.
