Day 1:
Arrive CairoWelcome to Egypt - the gift of the Nile as
described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International
Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Memphis Tours
representative who will help you through passport control,
baggage claim, and all customs formalities. You will then be
transferred to your hotel by a private air-conditioned
vehicle for check-in. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:
Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian Museum, & Train to Aswan After
breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Giza, home
of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to the Great
Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dating to
the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the
Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.
After that, visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see
great pharaonic treasures including those of Tutankhamun. In
the evening, transfer to the train station for an overnight,
first class ride to Aswan.
Day 3:
Aswan SightseeingUpon arrival in the morning, you will be
met & assisted by a Memphis Tours representative at the
Aswan train station and transferred to your hotel for
check-in. Enjoy the Nile River via felucca boat on your way
to Elephantine Island; the island is named Elephantine
either because it was a major ivory trading center or
because Egyptians first saw the Elephant in this area.
Return to your hotel. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
Aswan Sights / Transfer To LuxorAfter breakfast, finish your
tour of Aswan beginning with the High Dam and the Unfinished
Obelisk, considered the largest piece of stone ever made;
this obelisk most likely belongs to Queen Hatshepsut.
Continue your tour with the beautiful Temple of Philae,
which is devoted to the goddesses Isis and Hathor.
Afterwards, transfer to Aswan Railway Station and ride to
Luxor. In Luxor, you will be met at the train station and
transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Luxor
Day 5:
Luxor ExcursionsEnjoy an early morning excursion to Valley
of the Kings and see the grandeur of architecture that was
used for burial. From Valley of the Kings, move to El Deir
Bahari Temple, built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of
Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for approximately 20 years
during the 18th Dynasty. Finally, visit the Colossi of
Memnon before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 6:
Transfer To HurghadaAfter breakfast, enjoy free time in
Luxor. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Hurghada
by a modern air-conditioned vehicle and check-in at your
hotel. Overnight in Hurghada.
Days 7& 8:
Optional Hurghada ExcursionsChoose between different
optional activities like scuba diving or snorkeling among
the Red Sea coral reefs and its amazing sea life. Or choose
from one of the many other water activities such as
windsurfing, sailing, or deep-sea fishing. Optional tours
for diving and/or snorkeling off Giftun Island are also
available. For a more relaxed view of sealife, take the
Sindbad submarine and discover the amazing underwater world
of the Red Sea. Overnight in Hurghada.
Day 9:
Transfer To CairoTransfer to Cairo by a modern
air-conditioned coach. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 10:
DepartureAfter breakfast, transfer to Cairo International
Airport for final departure

You must have a valid passport to enter Egypt. (You must
have at least 6 months of validity beyond your scheduled
return date.)
Single supplement is applied for those coming alone.
Alternatively; your accommodation can be at 4 or 5 star
hotels according to your request. Also, we can organize that
program by first class sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan &
by flight from Hurghada to Cairo.
