Day 1:
Arrive CairoWelcome to Egypt - the gift of the Nile as
described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International
Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Memphis Tours
representative who will help you through passport control,
baggage claim, and all customs formalities. You will then be
transferred to your hotel by a private air-conditioned
vehicle for check-in. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:
Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian Museum, Travel to Aswan After
breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Giza, home
of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to the Great
Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dating to
the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the
Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.
After that, visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see
great pharaonic treasures including those of Tutankhamun.
Transfer to Giza train station in the evening for the Aswan
bound train. Dinner & overnight on board train.
Day 3:
Aswan Fishing BoatUpon arrival in Aswan, you will be met by
our representative and transferred to your fishing boat.
Lunch, dinner & overnight on board.
Days 4, 5, & 6:
Aswan Fishing Boat After breakfast, enjoy your fishing day
on board. Lunch, dinner and overnight on the boat.
Day 7:
Disembark, Sleeper Train To Cairo After breakfast, disembark
from the fishing boat. In the afternoon, you'll be
transferred to Aswan railway station where you'll board the
sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner & overnight on board the
train.
Day 8:
Back To Cairo Upon arrival at Giza station, you will be met
and assisted by a Memphis Tours representative and
transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9:
Departure After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International
Airport for final departure.
