Day 1:
Arrival to the Cairo Airport, meet and assist during
formalities, then escort to the hotel, check in, at night
optional dinner cruise, then back to the hotel to stay
overnight. (B&B)
Day 2:
After breakfast, check out and sightseeing in Giza to visit
the pyramids and the Sphinx. (Lunch is optional during the
tour). Heading to the Papyrus institute and Perfume Factory,
then transfer to visit the Egyptian Museum, old Cairo and
Khan El Khalili. Transfer to the train station to catch the
train heading to Aswan (first class/air-conditioned Spanish
train) and overnight in the train. (B&B)
Day 3:
Arrival Aswan. Upon arrival, check in the cruise lunch then
sightseeing in Aswan to visit the high dam, the unfinished
obelisk and felucca ride around the rocky island of the
Nile. After that, optional visit to the Nubian Village,
where you can experience the daily life and costumes of
Upper Egyptians. Then transfer to the cruise, dinner and
entertainment on board. Sailing to Kom ombo and overnight on
board in the cruise. (F&B)
Day 4:
Breakfast, arrival to Kom Ombo and visit to the temple of
Kom Ombo. The temple is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek
and the falcon god Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Continue
sailing to Edfu, lunch on board. After lunch, sightseeing of
Edfu temple, the major and the best preserved Ptolemaic
temple in Egypt. The temple is dedicated to the falcon god
Horus and was built over a 180-year period from 237 BC to 57
BC. Continue sailing to Esna to cross the lock. Dinner and
entertainment of Galabia party, sailing to Luxor and
overnight on board. (F&B)
Day 5:
After breakfast, sightseeing in Luxor to visit the west
bank, El Dier El Bahari (Queen Hatschepsut temple, valley of
the kings, colossi of Memnon), back to the cruise, lunch and
dinner. At night optional sound and light show at the Karnak
temple. Then back to the cruise entertainment and overnight
on board. (F&B)
Day 6:
Breakfast, check out from the cruise, then sightseeing of
the east bank to visit the Karnak Temple. Transfer to the
train station to catch the train going to Cairo and
overnight in the train. (F&B)
Day 7:
Arrival in Cairo. Upon arrival transfer to Cairo
international Airport for final departure.
