Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Arrival at Cairo airport, where our representative will be
waiting for you. He will then meet and assist you through
airport formalities and escort you to your hotel in Cairo,
situated at the pyramids' area. Check in and overnight.
Day 2: Cairo
After breakfast, you will meet your guide at the hotel and
depart for a full day city tour of Cairo: you will enjoy the
visit of the famous Egyptian museum and our invitation for a
free lunch one of Cairo's typical oriental restaurant. In
the afternoon, you will discover the famous Giza plateau
hosting the legendary pyramids & sphinx, the citadel of
Salah-el-Din and Mohamed Ali Mosque. You will end the visits
of the day with a walk in the oldest bazaar in Cairo, the
Khan-el-Khalili, where you can shop for souvenirs. Return to
the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3: Cairo - Luxor (Cruise –
Monday Sailing)
Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to Cairo airport to board
your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor airport, our
representative will meet & assist you and escort you to your
Nile Cruiser, which will be your home for the next 7 nights.
Embarkation. Lunch on board. Your afternoon will be free at
leisure. Dinner and overnight aboard the ship.
Day 4: Luxor
After breakfast, you will start the visits and leave for the
East Bank of Luxor where you will enjoy discovering the
complexes of Karnak and Luxor temples with your guide.
Day 5: Luxor - Esna – Edfu
In the morning cross the West bank, visit the Necropolis of
Thebes, the wondrous Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's
Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon . In the evening sail to
Esna, cross the lock and continue to Edfu e njoying the view
while sailing. Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu.
Day 6: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan
In Edfu, you will reach the huge temple dedicated to the God
Horus. Lunch on board. Your ship will then leave for Kom
Ombo. In the evening visit the temple shared by two gods
Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Aswan and overnight.
Day 7: Aswan
In the morning you will go off shore for the visits of the
high dam, unfinished obelisque and Philae temple. You will
be back on board for lunch. View of the Elephantine island
by felucca (sailing boat) and view of the Aga Khan
mausoleum. Dinner and overnight aboard the ship in Aswan.
Day 8: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu
Morning, free at leisure. In the evening your Nile Cruiser
will sail to Edfu where you will stop for view of the Kom
Ombo temple. Dinner and overnight aboard the ship in Edfu
Optional: Abu Simbel excursion in the morning.
Day 9: Edfu – Esna - Luxor
In the morning sail to Esna. Visit the temple of God Khnum.
In the evening continue to sail to Luxor, dinner and
overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 10: Luxor – Cairo
Check out after breakfast. You will disembark your Nile
Cruiser and be transferred to Luxor airport to fly to Cairo.
You will arrive in Cairo airport where our representative
will meet and assist you and you will be escorted to your
hotel situated in Heliopolis (airport area). Check in. Rest
of the day free at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Cairo (Depart)
Transfer from the hotel to Cairo airport for final
departure.
