Day 1:
Arrive Cairo Welcomez to Egypt- the gift of the Nile as described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, will be met and assisted by a Memphis Tours representative who will help you through passport control, baggage claim and all customs formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:
Pyramids - Sphinx After breakfast, relish in a day of sightseeing via a private vehicle. First,see the pyramids of Giza home of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. From there proceed to visit the the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dating to the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3:
Egyptian Museum - Cairo Today visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see the splendid collection of Tutankhamun alongside many other fascinating artifacts. After the museum continue to Salah El Din’s Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 4:
Cairo or Alexandria After breakfast, choose between a free day in Cairo or an optional tour to Alexandria. Sites in Alexandria include Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse; Montazah Palace, which combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles, the new and much acclaimed Alexandria Library; the Roman cemetery cut out of rock; and the Catacombs. Return to Cairo for overnight stay.
Day 5:
Departure After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
