Day 1:
Arrive CairoWelcome to Egypt- the gift of the Nile as
described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International
Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Memphis Tours
representative who will help you through passport control,
baggage claim, and all customs formalities. You will then be
transferred to your hotel by a private air-conditioned
vehicle for check-in. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:
Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian Museum, Train to LuxorAfter
breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Giza, home
of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to the Great
Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dating to
the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the
Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.
After that visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see great
pharaonic treasures including those of Tutankhamun. Transfer
to Giza train station in the evening for the Luxor bound
train. Relax and enjoy the overnight ride in first class.
Day 3:
Luxor SightseeingUpon arrival in the morning, you will be
met at Luxor train station then taken on an excursion to
Valley of the Kings. Here you will see the grandeur of
architecture that was used for burial. From Valley of Kings,
move to El Deir El Bahari Temple,built by Queen Hatshepsut,
daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for approximately
20 years during the 18th Dynasty. Continue onto the Colossi
of Memnon followed by both Karnak and Luxor Temples.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 4:
Aswan ToursAfter breakfast, transfer to Luxor train station
and travel to Aswan. After a short journey,begin your tour
of Aswan with the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. This
oblisk is considered the largest piece of stone ever made
and most likely belongs to Queen Hatshepsut. Continue your
tour at the beautiful Temple of Philae, devoted to the
goddesses Isis and Hathor. Sail to Elephantine Island via
local felucca boat. The island is named Elephantine either
becuase it was a major ivory trading center or because
Egyptians first saw the Elephant in this area. Overnight in
Aswan.
Day 5:
Abu Simbel Tour / Train To CairoDepart Aswan in the early
morning via coach and head south to the impressive temples
of Ramses II at Abu Simbel. During his reign, Ramses II
built seven temples; today, the Abu Simbel Temples are
considered to be the most impressive of them all. Return to
Aswan train Station for return departure to Cairo in first
class . Overnight on train.
Day 6:
CairoBack in Cairo,you will be met and assisted at Giza
train Station then transferred to your hotel. Choose between
free time in Cairo or an optional tour of Memphis and
Sakkara. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 7:
Cairo or AlexandriaAe between afree day in or an optional
trip to Alexandria. Sites in Alexandria incude Qaitbay Fort,
built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of
Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse; Montazah Palace, which
combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles; the
new and much acclaimed Alexandria Library; the Roman
cemetery cut out of rock; and the Catacombs. Return to Cairo
for overnight stay.
Day 8:
DepartureAfter breakfast, transfer to Cairo International
Airport for final departure

have at least 6 months of validity beyond your scheduled

Single supplement is applied for those coming alone.
Alternatively; your accommodation can be at 4 or 5 star
hotels according to your request. Also, we can organize that
program by first class sleeper train.
